For patients like me who want to have a life after diagnosis, and on O2, life activities away from home will be limited and more disease focused. I feel the Independence POC has come along just in time. It lets us travel independently outside our homes, in cars, trains, buses, and on foot, with equipment we are no longer provided.
The Independence comes well packed, in a box proudly marked "Made in the USA", with a USA flag The instructions are written by an "English as a first language" writer. They are not the usual bad translations The instruction book is short, concise, succinct, and well photographed and diagrammed It supplies continuous O2 up to 3, and pulse up to 6, so one unit covers O2 needs 24/7.
The Independence is easy to get on and off the cart. Batteries are easy to install and replace without removing the Independence from cart
It is so easy to operate, as all controls and connections are visible and accessible on top when the cover is lifted The elapsed time feature, and the warning and status lights and alarms
I am no longer assured of a liquid reservoir awaiting me at my destination, or a small liquid reservoir to carry and use in the in the car and hotel, and to flll my Helios. Therefore, I will be using my POC on most outings. That's why I'm glad there is another POC, the Oxlife Independence, on the market and to know it delivers both pulse and continuous flow.

I am delighted with The Independence POC. Around the office I can roll it on the cart and not be tied down to my desk. I love using it in my truck while driving just plugging it into my cigarette lighter. No extra cords and hooking things up. Also it is very user friendly to someone who has trouble using a remote this is a piece of cake in comparision. The quick start guide is so helpful to a non technical person. The durability is the best ! No cheap plastic to worry about breaking. I am amazed that people still stand by their product these days. LIFETIME WARRANTY is amazing!

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for the L6. I have severe COPD and require 6 liters of continuous O2 supply. Your unit has made me mobile again and I love it. I am currently planning a trip from my home in Ohio to Destin Florida. This kind of trip [would be] impossible it were not for your unit.
Thank you again for your work and for the machine you produce. It gives me options that otherwise I would never have.
Good Luck with your business and I wish you good profitability for a long time to come.
God Bless!
Just got home from a 3 week, 5000 miles road trip with my new Freedom Five concentrator and I want to say thanks for your product. Absolutely no problems with the equipment as inverter worked perfectly for my in-car needs. Wife says I now have no excuses [not] to travel, but next time maybe a little less road time.
Regards,
Bill from Chandler, AZ

Dear Stewart,
As we discussed via phone on October, 19, my wife used the travel concentrator exclusively during our travels in Alaska. We found the convenience of the concentrator filled her needs, since we were doing lots of air travel. As you know, small portable 02 tanks are not allowed on aircraft. While in Alaska, we traveled by boat, plane, train, and bus.......the travel concentrator was most helpful ....
Sincerely,
William Mallory

"I now have over 1500 trouble free hours on my OxLife L-3. Most all of which was used in my car, and a few hours in motels. When I was put on oxygen by my lung doctor, Dr. James Pearl, he told me to use oxygen for the rest of my life and suggested low altitude for easy breathing.
I experimented with several machines all of which were to noisy or too heavy. At home, I use a 2 week liquid tank.
My sister-in-law is forced to use a suitcase style unit around the clock and it is a real noise maker, even when placed in another room.
I am 85 years old, and have never found a better tool than OxLife for either at home, in cars or motor home."
Good luck,

"I would like to take this opportunity to Congratulate OxLife Inc. on the development and sale of the Portable Excel Oxygen Concentrator
I am afflicted with COPD and in the need of oxygen as prescribed by my Pulmonologist, 24 hours per day. Because of this need, a patient in this situation is very restricted in movement, and is limited to a walk-around oxygen bottle pulse type. This is limited to 4 or 5 hours and then must be replaced. The net result is you are limited to "Day Trips" as you cannot sleep with this type of supply. Thereby eliminating any overnight trips.
All the concentrators for the most part are in the 80 lb class and although work off standard AC house electricity, they are too heavy to move. This totally eliminates short, spur of the moment trips.
"Bingo", along comes OxLife with a 28 lb AC oxygen unit, the Excel. "The Magic Carpet". Light enough in weight to pick up on a moments notice, put in your car and be on your way out of town for an overnight outing or to visit your children, baby sitting for your grand children or just getting away to the countryside for a long weekend.
It gives freedom to those who were to this point condemned to be prisoners to their home, restricted by their health. The OxLife Excel Oxygen concentrators is one of the most reliable and simple units to operate. I am pleased to say that we have owned an Excel for more than one year and feel it is our 'Magic Carpet'."
Sincerely,
Andrew Fusco

Gentlemen:
Just a brief note to tell you how pleased I am with your 28 lb Excel concentrator.
It travels with me in my motor home and Amtrak trips, where I plug it into the electrical outlet in the Pullman bedroom.
It is an excellent little unit.
Sincerely,
